Please join our Lethbridge Chapter and other community residents at our Women's Health Brunch!

Over brunch, Dr. Rebecca Graff-McRae will present a talk entitled "49.6% or 50/50? Women and the Politics of Healthcare Access in Alberta." The presentation will focus on threats to women's health in Alberta and what we can do to address them, with a Q&A to follow afterwards. As research manager at the Parkland Institute, Dr. Graff-McRae is a leading voice on health care public policy in Canada. Previous research reports authored by her include Access Denied: How the Changing Accessibility of Health Care Services in Alberta Impacts Equity and Misdiagnosis: Privatization and Disruption in Alberta’s Medical Laboratory Services.

We'll also be joined by Chris Gallaway, executive director of Friends of Medicare, who will bring greetings and briefly discuss how protecting women's health is vital to strengthening our public health care system.
