October 1 is the International Day of Older Persons. To mark the occasion, Friends of Medicare and the AUPE Women’s Committee are co-hosting a panel discussion to recognize, celebrate and advocate for Alberta seniors and caretakers. Join us on Wednesday, October 1 to help Strike a Change for Alberta Seniors! 

Because between the Alberta government's decisions to hike seniors' drug costs, chronically understaff care services, and far too little continuing care capacity, seniors in this province aren't getting the care they need and deserve.

Join us for an interactive forum to bring awareness to the much-needed improvements to senior's care in Alberta. We'll hear stories from seniors, workers and experts as we demand better for seniors receiving care in private for profit facilities. Lunch will be provided.
