Show your support for our vital public health care system! Join us for a massive Rally for Respect at the Alberta Legislature this Thursday, October 24.

Between major changes being imposed on our health care, an escalating agenda of privatization, and chronic short-staffing throughout the system, Albertans are experiencing first-hand the impacts of this government's continual disrespect for health care workers and patients. And we're fed up with not being able to access the timely, quality care that we need and deserve. 

Because the working conditions in health care are our care conditions too.

That's why Friends of Medicare will be joining health care workers and their unions, including United Nurses of Alberta, Health Sciences Association of Alberta, the Alberta Union of Provincial Employees, CUPE Alberta, the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Non-Academic Staff Association, as well as other health care advocates and supporters to demand the respect and fair wages that health care workers deserve, and well-funded, well-supported public services for us all!
