Join the Leduc-Beaumont chapter of Friends of Medicare as they gather for their annual general meeting to discuss last year's work and plan the work ahead in our fight to protect, expand and strengthen public health care. 

The AGM will begin at 6 pm. All are welcome to attend, but only members in good standing are eligible to vote in discussion or elections. Renew your membership for 2027.

Following the AGM, at 7 pm, the chapter will be hosting a free screening of the award-winning National Film Board documentary, "Stolen Time." This powerful film follows elder rights lawyer, Melissa Miller, as she takes on Canada's corporate for-profit nursing-home industry. Watch the trailer. The film lasts 85 minutes.
